This is a spectacular restoration on a breathtaking piano. The finish is polished over a much heavier grained walnut than usual–the grain looks almost like mahogany. It looks new when you lift the lid. It has an original sound board with a spectacular sound, and the remainder of the piano has been properly rebuilt and restored by one of the most well-respected, top Steinway piano rebuilders.
