This is a spectacular restoration on a breathtaking piano. The finish is polished over a much heavier grained walnut than usual–the grain looks almost like mahogany. It looks new when you lift the lid. It has an original sound board with a spectacular sound, and the remainder of the piano has been properly rebuilt and restored by one of the most well-respected, top Steinway piano rebuilders. It has all new, New York Steinway action parts with new hammers as well. This Steinway Louis XV comes with the original matching bench. This very special and rare piano plays like a dream!
