This Steinway has been professionally refinished in satin ebony within the last 10 years. It has new plastic key tops. The original soundboard was shimmed, and it was professionally restrung within the last 10 years. All the wooden action parts were replaced in the late 1950s and new Steinway hammers were put on 15 years ago. The piano has recently been professionally regulated voiced and tuned. It plays very well and has a nice even tone. This is an 88 note model A-1 Steinway.
