This absolutely stunning Victorian 7′ 5″ Steinway C piano was rebuilt in 2005 at the Schimmel Factory in Europe. The case has been completely refinished with a high gloss polyester black. It has a new soundboard, bridge caps, and a new pinblock. The plate has been refinished and detailed, and it has all new tuning pins with Roselau strings. All hardware and duplex scales have been replated and polished. The action is completely new as well. Additionally, in the last few years, it now has a completely new keyframe and keys, action stack, capstains, backchecks, and felts, as well as new hammer shanks and cold pressed heads. This piano has been completely voiced and regulated to concert perfection! This most beautiful Model C with the flamed mahogany is the rarest of the rare. There are very few dealers, artist or collectors today that can find or have even seen this piano. This piano possesses a perfect blend of tonal warmth, richness, and power. The ivory keys are in perfect condition (indicating the piano was well maintained and properly climatized throughout its life). This is the closest scale to a Model D piano (9′), so it has the luscious rich sound that most Steinway concert D pianos have.
