This Custom Walnut case is very rare. It has been professionally refinished in the last 10 years. The lid needs to be re-toned because of a slight sun fade which we can have done at a small cost. This piano has new Renner hammer shanks and flanges, a new pin block, new strings and damper felts. The tone is very sweet and round. The touch is easy and smooth. It will come with a matching bench.

This very rare and beautiful “Art Case Steinway “S” was custom designed by the world famous Ormolu Casters, P.E. Guerin (www.peguerin.com), in New York City. The piano is in all original condition. Its original ivory keys are in wonderful condition, and the piano has been gently used during its very pampered life. The soundboard, pinblock and action are in excellent tuning and playing order.
