This most beautiful Model C with the flamed mahogany is the rarest of the rare. There are very few dealers, artist or collectors today that can find or have even seen this piano. This piano possesses a perfect blend of tonal warmth, richness, and power. The ivory keys are in perfect condition (indicating the piano was well maintained and properly climatized throughout its life). This is the closest scale to a Model D piano (9′), so it has the luscious rich sound that most Steinway concert D pianos have.
